Dominick Dominates 7Up Batters
By: Steven Ballman
West Bend 7 Up lost a hard fought pitchers duel 2-0 Friday night infront of a large crowd at Carl Kuss. Adam Dominick of Pewaukee and Bryant Bullock of West Bend 7 Up lived up to the hype and then some. From the start it looked like the team to score first would win the game. Pewaukee would score first. After a circus act of a pickle, the Pewaukee runner was safe at second, a sacrafice later, a solid basehit scored the only actual run Pewaukee would need.
West Bend would only get one batter to second base, after Billy Bynum who is hitting a career .728 against Dominick knocked a double to left center to lead off, but Dominick struck the next 3 out. Bynum had 2 of the 3 hits for 7 Up while Nathan Krause got a solid single to right field in the 8th.
