Over a 1000 feet of Home Runs Propel 7 Up

By: Steven Ballman

Just when the league was ready to close the book on Mike Mueller, he stepped to bat in the 8th inning and proceeded to deposit a ball so deep it was found across main street.  It was Mueller's 2nd home run of the day and 3rd on the season.  Mueller's blast in the first inning would be all that West Bend would need on a beautiful day.

Bryant Bullock continued his redemption season with another complete game to lower his ERA into crazy Jim Ziegler territory.  "Bones" admittedly didn't have his best stuff today, but along with catcher, Nathan Krause, were able to move the ball around the zone and make pitches when needed to keep 7 Up in the game.  Brandon Mantz and Billy Bynum made several high caliber plays in the field to help Bullock's cause.

Daniel Mueller launched a long home run off the scoreboard for the host.  The ball knocked out yet another bulb in the aging scoreboard.

Nathan Krause and Mike Mueller were the only two with multiple hits on the day.
